Joint Training!! Monday, 4/22/24, Luling VFD provided multi-department vehicle extrication "hands on" training. Members of Luling VFD, Hahnville VFD, Paradis VFD, and Bayou Gauche VFD participated. Just after 2 pm. Tuesday, 4/2/24, Luling VFD was dispatched to a garbage truck on fire in the Willowdale area. Arriving units advised that smoke was showing coming from the rear of the truck. Water began being applied. The contents of the truck was dumped to allow firefighters to locate the fire and extinguish utilizing foam.
