Congratulations to Luling VFD's Training Chief, Stephen Stromeyer. Chief Stromeyer received runner up in a national award for the 2023 Training Officer Recognition Award. This recognition and award was conducted by Volunteer and Combination Officers Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. In addition to Stromeyer being a career firefighter he volunteers at Luling VFD and is responsible for the training and development of career and volunteer firefighters.
