Last week our Training Chief, Stephen Stromeyer, had the honor of being an instructor at the LIFT conference in Baton Rouge.

The conference was held February 9th through 13th. This conference has been held since 2018 and has been a cornerstone of firefighter training in the region, bringing together over 400 dedicated firefighters from the region and beyond. It is one of the largest training conferences in the area.

In addition to instructing, Stromeyer attended lectures and participated in hands on training (HOT) drills. This training is brought back and shared with not on Luling VFD but with other departments in our parish.
