What is the Knox Rapid Access System?
Trusted by thousands of fire and law enforcement agencies for more than 40 years, the Knox Rapid Access System provides first responders with secure, immediate access to commercial buildings, residential properties, campuses, gated facilities, and other secured locations during emergencies. By reducing barriers to entry, the Knox System helps minimize property damage and improve responder safety.

How to Order a Knox Product
Visit www.knoxbox.com and select**"START HERE"** at the top of the page. [help.knoxbox.com], [knoxbox.com]
Select your responding agency using one of the following options:
Option A: Search by the installation address where the Knox product will be installed. Follow the prompts to confirm the responding agency for that location.
Option B: Select**"Search for Your Department,"** choose Louisiana, and search for**"Luling Vol Fire Dept."** Select the department when it appears in the search results. [help.knoxbox.com]

Click**"Shop Products"** to view the Knox products approved for use within our jurisdiction. [help.knoxbox.com]
Select the Knox product that best fits your needs and complete the online ordering process.
Some orders may require Fire Department approval before Knox can manufacture and ship the product. If approval is required, both the customer and the Fire Department will receive notification through the Knox system. [knoxbox.com], [help.knoxbox.com]
Recommended Products
Commercial Buildings:
KnoxBox 3200 Series
Recommended for facilities requiring storage of up to approximately ten (10) keys.
KnoxVault 4400 Series
Recommended for larger facilities requiring storage of numerous keys, access cards, key fobs, or other access devices.
Residential Properties
For apartment complexes, multifamily dwellings, gated residential communities, and single-family residences, we recommend selecting a Knox residential access product approved by the Luling Volunteer Fire Department.
Shipping Information
Once your order has been approved and processed, Knox will ship the product directly to the shipping address provided during checkout.
Important: The shipping address and installation address may be different. Please ensure both addresses are entered correctly during the ordering process. Do not enter the shipping address as the installation address unless the Knox product will be installed at that location.
Installation Requirements
Property owners are responsible for the installation of all Knox products. The Luling Volunteer Fire Department does not install Knox products.
We recommend installing the Knox Box:
On the address side of the building whenever possible.
Near the primary or front entrance.
In a location that is clearly visible and easily accessible to responding emergency personnel.
In accordance with all Knox installation instructions provided with the product.
Proper placement helps ensure quick access for emergency responders when every second matters. Please contact the Luling Vol. Fire Department for install location recommendations.
After Installation
Once installation is complete, please contact the Luling Volunteer Fire Department so we can update our records, coordinate key placement, and verification.
