Members of Luling VFD, Hahnville VFD, Paradis VFD, and Bayou Gauche VFD participated in joint training on Mayday. Mayday is a radio distress signal used to indicate that a firefighter is in immediate danger or needs help. Examples of when a Mayday is called is when a firefighter is lost, trapped, or injured. Fire Ground Strategies and Fire Behavior Training

In conjunction with recent classroom training on Fire Ground Strategies, Search & Rescue, and Fire Behavior, firefighters from Luling VFD, Hahnville VFD, Killona VFD, Paradis VFD, Bayou Gauche VFD and St. Charles Parish 911 participated in practical training utilizing the strategies and techniques learned in that class.

Luling VFD, Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department, and St. Charles 911 participated in joint training on 9/23/24.
